    Depart the USA on your overnight flight(s) to Venice, Italy

  • Day 2 | May 29, 2024 | Wednesday: Arrive Venice Hyatt Centric Murano

    Arrive in Venice and transfer via boat to your hotel, the Hyatt Centric Murano Venice. Located in the Venetian Lagoon, Murano is a series of islands linked by bridges, world-renowned for its glass making. Visit the Murano Glass Museum and retrace the history of glass art from Roman times through the Golden Age to the 20th-century, featuring works from Angelo Barovier, Lorenzo Radi, Vincenzo Moretti, and Cappellin & Venini.

  • Day 3 | May 30, 2024 | Thursday: Murano / Burano Hyatt Centric Murano

    Breakfast at the hotel (included). Delve into the world of Venetian glass with visits to famous glass furnaces, workshops, and showrooms. Since the 13th-century, the island of Murano has concentrated on glassmaking and today, Murano is known the world over for its art glass, and has a long history of innovation and artistic fame. Visits may include: Lucio Bubacco, Ars Cenedese, Simone Cenedese, Davide Salvadore, Lino Tagliapietra, and Venini. Visit the island of Burano, known for its lace work and brightly colored homes. Enjoy lunch at the famous Da Romano (included).

  • Day 4 | May 31, 2024 | Friday: Murano / Venice Hotel Londra Palace

    Breakfast at hotel (included). Before departing Murano for Venice, continue to discover the remaining glass furnaces, workshops, and showrooms. Transfer to the enchanting city of Venice, home to canals lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces, architectural bridges, gondoliers, and famous sites, such as Piazza San Marco and St. Mark’s Basilica. Check-in to the elegant, five-star hotel, Hotel Londra Palace, which since 1853 has been the perfect retreat with views overlooking the San Marco basin. Remainder of day at your leisure to explore Venice.

  • Day 5 | June 1, 2024 | Saturday: Venice Hotel Londra Palace

    Breakfast at hotel (included). Discover Venice with a local guide on an overview and historical tour. Known by many names, such as “City of Water”, “City of Masks”, “City of Bridges”, and “The Floating City”, Venice is renowned for all of the above, as well as its architecture, artwork and artistic movements, operatic music, and cuisine. Visit one of Venice’s islands, San Giorgio Maggiore. Established by Benedictine monks, San Giorgio is home to the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, designed by Palladio, the Cini Foundation arts centre, and the Teatro Verde open-air theatre.

  • Day 6 | June 2, 2024 | Sunday: Venice Hotel Londra Palace

    Breakfast at hotel (included). Visit The Museum of Palazzo Mocenigo, a former residence of one of the most important Venetian families, the museum now houses vast collections of ancient fabrics, costumes, and perfume. Tour Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua, a textile company that was incorporated in 1875, but dates back to 1499. The company continues its traditional means of production on 17th-century wooden looms, creating elegant velvets, lampas, damasks, and satins. Visit Ca’ Pesaro International Gallery of Modern Art, a 17th-century Baroque marble palace facing the Grand Canal, showcasing 19th and 20th-century collections of paintings and sculptures, as well as original frescos and oil decorations on the ceilings from artists Bambini, Trevisani, and Brusaferro.

  • Day 7 | June 3, 2024 | Monday: Venice Hotel Londra Palace

    Breakfast at hotel (included). This morning, visit the neighborhood or sestieri of Dorsoduro, known as one of the most authentic areas in Venice. Visit the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, a modern art museum housed in the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, the former home of the American heiress for three decades. The collection includes works of prominent Italian futurists and American modernists working in Cubism, Surrealism, and abstract expressionism. Enjoy an afternoon treat in Dorsoduro with the traditional and popular experience of cicchetti e ombre, small bites or plates of food and glasses of wine to wash down the cicchetti (included).

  • Day 8 | June 4, 2024 | Tuesday: Venice En Route

    Breakfast at hotel (included). Check-out of the hotel and transfer to the Venice Airport for your flight(s) back to the USA.
